When lies become the truth,
[that's when I run to you]
This world keeps spinning faster
To a new disaster, so I run to you
To a new disaster, so I run to you
Log-In Name: Tidepools
IC Current Name/Future Name: Tidepool
Rank: Warrior
Gender: Tom
Age: Twenty-two moons
Reference/Summarized Description:
Tidepool - Thin, pointed tom with cream markings and light blue eyes. Looks somewhat feminine.
Detailed Description:
He could substitute for his own mother. Rather than taking on a more masculine body, like most toms would, Tidepool has a slim, more feminine body. The most masculine part of him is his voice - and even then, it sounds somewhat like a female's normally would.
His coat consists of mainly white, and is, for the most part, well-kept for a Clan cat. On his face and tail are the distinctive features of a cream tabby - the 'M'-shaped marking on the forehead, cream fur (most noticeable around the nose and tail), and darker stripes. The ears are a pale cream color, and could be mistaken for entirely white from a far enough distance. Although barely recognizable, there are a few stripes along his back. Wide, light blue eyes stand out well from Tidepool's fur.
Personality:
Tidepool could easily be compared to a ladybug in strength. He can't fight for the life of him, and his hunting isn't exactly as great as it normally should be. In fact, it could be rumored that his mentor simply recommended him just to get rid of the wimp. However, what he lacks in brawn, he makes up in brains. Since he and his siblings could first talk, it was obvious that he was superior to the others when it came to intelligence. Fighting? Not so much.
He was often not included in games and, due to this, does not enjoy playing with kits - or playing in general.
He isn't a grouch, though; in fact, he's the near opposite. Aside from times where he feels intimidated, he's pretty kind, and won't hesitate to jump into a conversation or two.
History:
Clan-born and stuff.
Roleplay Sample:
{I just pulled this from Reedstar's latest roleplay; it was with Swiftstep and Dampfoot. From DoaNE.}
Reedstar had just finished off another one of the scrawny mice from the freshkill pile. It wasn't the best thing she ever tasted, nor was it the most filling - but it would do, for now. At least her Clan had prey and a place to sleep without the risk of drowning. Sure, it wasn't like an actual camp - it didn't even have any kind of barrier, leaving them wide open for attack. But nothing bad had happened yet, so... The she-cat's ears perked up at Dampfoot's complaint, and her tail flicked in some annoyance. "And back in your day, the mice were bigger than the cats, Dampfoot. Even if we were back at camp, you'd still be complaining about it being wet, or your sides aching, or the apprentices being apprentices. You're like a young elder," she responded, amused by the old tom.
--
Reedstar snorted at the tom, resting her head on her paws. "Do you think LilyClan is any better off than the rest of us? Just be greatful Brightstar and his Clan let us stay on their land for this long. I don't think it'll be long until the flood goes down far enough for us to return to camp, and then you can have your share of fun by complaining about how smelly your fur is after you sit in the damp grass and water." She flicked her tail, and then added, "I think our problem with that damned CliffClan is more important than this. Everyone knows how badly they want to expand their territory, and they're most likely going to start with StreamClan first. StarClan knows why - our territory is practically useless to them. They couldn't swim if the water was as shallow as you are, Dampfoot."
--
Reedstar ran her tongue up her leg a few times before responding, trying to think. "She has crowfood for a heart and a rock for a brain, but her Clan is tough. I was really hoping that after Spottedstar...," the she-cat cringed slightly as the former CliffClan leader was mentioned, "died, the tensions between CliffClan and StreamClan would die with her. But somehow, she got Sandstar to follow in her pawsteps. I just hope that the same thing doesn't happen to the current deputy..."
--
Reedstar's whiskers twitched in an amused way at Dampfoot's view on Thunderstorm. "Yeah. I doubt he'd even try to set foot on StreamClan territory. But eh, you never know. Anyways, I think this is the perfect time to go take another one of my long naps." The she-cat stood off, and, stretching, headed towards her makeshift 'den.'
